Psychotherapy and counselling for women struggling with midlife challenges.

Blurred image of a woman behind glass

As a woman in your midlife, you may be feeling overwhelmed by physical, psychological and emotional challenges. Dealing with this complex stage in life, involving children leaving, ageing parents, work-related stress and menopause symptoms, can feel relentless and deeply unsettling.

On the outside you might seem like you’ve got it all under control but inside you could be feeling lost and uncertain about the future. If you’ve gone from feeling capable, confident, and sociable to struggling with the chaos of midlife, feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and unsure how to cope, it’s a difficult and lonely place to be.

"We hustle for our worthiness by constantly performing, perfecting, pleasing, and proving. We spend every ounce of energy attempting to hold it all together so we can finally feel worthy." - Brene Brown

What clients say about working with me

Elinor was incredibly supportive and super easy to talk to. She really helped me to understand why I was feeling the way I was feeling and has left me with a great toolbox of coping strategies for going forwards with my anxiety and struggles without her. I really looked forward to my weekly counselling sessions and I was proud when I was making improvements in my life because of her support. Thank you!
